Welcome to Chelsea Tileworx!

Chelsea Tileworx has been chosen to display and offer our hand and foot tiles to visitors and patients at Mott Childrens Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan. We are excited about this relationship with Mott and look forward to many little paws being etched!  10% of each tile sale will be donated to the Child and Family Life Department to help make the stays of patients and families a little easier!

 A couple of notes:

• We will be providing these tiles after April 30th (if you saw a deadline from Mott Children's Hopsital) and will still donate 10% of your purchase to them. This is a service we've been doing for years. Have no fear, if you are due after April 30th, no problem!
•  If you have prints from older children, we can still make a tile for you. We can produce tiles from older prints if you are feeling nostalgic :) 

You can choose from a 4" tile for $18 or a 6" tile for $30. These make great keepsake gifts for family and friends. We turn around tiles in 2-3 days. We also can ship them anywhere. Once the tile artwork is received, you will be sent a link to purchase your custom tile. Once we receive the order, production begins and you'll have your tile in a few short days. All tiles come with felt pads so you can safely display it on a tabletop or mantel. These can be used as a trivet or hot plate in the kitchen too!

With the increasing popularity of Marathons, we've been asked to create more and more commemorative tiles for runs.  These tiles usually include a bib number, running time and the marathon and year or a variety of information. This one we did for a customer who recently completed the New York City Marathon.

These tiles are available for purchase thru our online sister store, stickthewalls.com. Simply enter in the info you'd like on the tile and we'll do the rest! Tiles are approx. 6"x6".  The information is actually etched into the tile. These make a great gift or award to signify the accomplishment of running that 26.2! Proudly display on a tabletop mantel or bar. Many customers uses these as hot plates in the kitchen. Click here to view them in the store.

We have been working with a school to create sponsorship tiles that they are using to tile around a newly constructed concession area.  This is an ongoing project and is a great fundraising project to help support many athletic needs at the school.

People email and call asking us "What can you guys do?" Above is the simple step by step process. We received a call from a Mom who wanted a custom gift for her daughter to give to her Grandfather. The daughter wrote out a simple note on a white piece of paper (no lined paper please) with a Sharpie marker. There are a few steps in between, on our part, where the magic happens.  Here is another example.  A friend of ours wanted a tile for her college roomate.  We have a tile that we sell in our online store but she wanted to word it differently.  I told her to write what she wanted it to say in a Sharpie marker.  The tile above is what we ended up making.  She was thrilled.  Remember, you don't have to be near our shop.  You can scan and send us artwork or even drop it in the snail mail!
